THE VINTAGE HAUSE STANDARD
What we breed for.
What we refuse to compromise.
The Vintage Hause Standard exists to protect the integrity of our dogs, our program, and the people who own them.
This standard defines what we breed for, how we develop our dogs, and what we expect from owners. It is not flexible, negotiable, or trend-driven.
If you align with this standard, we welcome the conversation.
If you do not, we are not the right program for you.
Temperament First
Temperament is the foundation of everything we do. We prioritize clear-headedness, stable nerves, environmental confidence,
and composure under pressure.
A dog that looks impressive but lacks mental stability is a liability. We will not compromise temperament for size, drive, or appearance.
Purpose-Driven Breeding
Every breeding is intentional. Pairings are selected based on structure, health, working ability, and compatibility
— not convenience or demand.
We do not breed to produce volume. We breed to preserve function.
Work Matters
Titles alone do not define a dog. Real development comes from training, exposure, and consistent structure.
Our dogs are raised and evaluated through work, not marketing.
Education Is Required
A working Rottweiler requires leadership, structure, and ongoing development. Ownership without education leads to failure
— for the dog and the owner.
We expect owners to be prepared, honest about their lifestyle, and committed to learning.
Preservation Over Profit
We will turn down placements that do not align with this standard. Demand does not dictate our decisions.
Our responsibility is to the dog first, always.
What We Expect From Owners
Owning a Vintage Hause Rottweiler is a responsibility.
We expect owners to:
• Provide structure and leadership
• Commit to training and development
• Be honest about their experience and lifestyle
• Respect the breed and the program
• Communicate openly and responsibly
